Life OK is coming with another serial on the channel. The new show on Life OK is named Mahakumbh. TV Show Mahakumbh is produced and directed by Arvind Babbal. According to sources, the makers have roped Gautam Rode to the play lead role in Mahakumbh serial. Gautam is currently seen in Star Plus show, Saraswatichandra which might be go off air due to low TRP and some other controversies. Now after this show Gautam Rode is ready to show his talent in Mahakumbh. The upcoming Life Ok show will be produced and directed by well know producer Arvind Babbal. He has already produced several shows like Chhoti Maa, Kumkum, Viraasat, Jiya Jale and Shobha Somnath Ki. Arvind Babbal was also associated with Star Plus show Saraswatichandra.

The new Life OK show, Mahakumbh is the story about a kid, who is blessed with some amazing super natural powers. According to the makers of this show, they are coming with a unique concept with this serial. It will be a fantasy fiction show. Mahakumbh is a unique concept for Indian audience. It is a thriller based story in the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh. It will unfold the story of a boy who possesses amazing supernatural powers but is unaware of the gift as a child. As he grows older, his powers start showing.

Gautam Rode has been finalized to play the lead role in Mahakumbh serial. Gautam works as an Actor, Host, and Model and have been working since the year 2000 in TV and film industry. He has recently portrayed the role of Saraswatichandra Laxminandan Vyas/ Naveenchandra in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra (2013-2014). He was host of Nach Baliye 5 (2012/2013), Nach Baliye 6 (2013/2014), India’s Got Talent 3 (2011). He has won Most Fit Actor at Zee Gold Awards 2013, Best Actor Award for Saraswatichandra at 145th Dada Saheb Phalke Award 2014, Best Actor Popular at Zee Gold Awards and many more. Gautam Rode as Rudra will Enter in Mahakumbh Serial on New Year’s eve (31st December, 2014).
Payal Rajput has Debut in the role of Sonakshi in Star Plus’ Sapnon Se Bhare Naina (Eyes full of Dreams, 2010-2012). She has Played the role of Ishaani in Life OK’s Gustakh Dil as Ishaani, and as Siya in Sahara One’s Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai (A daughter-in-law is after all a daughter, 2013-2014)
Manish Wadhwa works as an Indian actor and voice actor. He has made his debut by working in Theater in Mumbai for Comedy show Khatta Meetha. He has also done work for commercials and advertisements. Recently he has played the role of Ravan in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. He is currently playing the role of Nirajan Agnihotri in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Ek Baar Phir.
Shruti has been working in films and TV industry since many years. Currently, She is playing the role of Mrs. Khurana in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja.
Child artist Siddharth Nigam will essay the role of Younger Version of the Male Lead in the Serial. Talented Actor Siddharth was also seen as the Younger Version of Actor Aamir Khan’s Character in Dhoom:3. Siddharth have to learn swimming for the show. The 14 year old boy will perform underwater sequence with elan.
