The Story of Ganga Serial is based on the Sacred River Ganga. It will be Shoot in Benaras.
Gangaa is an inspiring story of a child widow Ganga. She has the indomitable spirit and will to survive. She determines to live life to its fullest and claiming. She has the amazing zest of life. In other words Gangaa is an aspirational and resilient Girl.
Strong minded Gangaa will be seen questioning age old customs of the society and her struggle for survival makes for an endearing and poignant story. Niranjan Chaturvedi, her rescuer and a father figure to her, or striking an equation with the aged grandmother Kanta dadi, who disapproves of her, Gangaa accepts them in her stride.

Popular and Talented Actor Hiten Tejwani has been roped in for Sphere Origins’ next titled as Ganga on Zee’ &TV (and TV Channel). Hiten is Expected to go to Benaras for the Shoot Soon. Hiten’s is playing the Lead Role as Niranjan. He will essay the role of a Responsible guy who Looks After his Family. He will be seen as a Lawyer. To play this role, he also visit the session court in Benares.
Romanch Mehta has been roped in Ganga Serial to play the role as Lovable Mama. He will be seen essaying the role as Husband of Rakhi Tandon, sister of Nirangan, role played by Hiten Tejwani. He was recently seen in Hijack track in Kiya Aur Baati Hum. Romanch was earlier seen in Devon ke Dev… Mahadeva nad Chhhanchan.
Jaya Bhattacharya will be seen playing the role of widow who is the head of a Ashram. Her character is not negative but she is very strict. She has wear no makeup to essay this role. She was currently seen in Maharana Pratap – Bharat Ka Veer Putra.
Actor Sanjay Gandhi has been roped in to play the character of Niranjan’s Brother-in-law. He will be seen in Negative shade. He is married to Niranjan’s sister who is no more. He will come to reside in Niranjan’s home with his teenage daughter. Sanjay Gandhi is best known as Original Daddaji of Yeh Rishta Kehlata Hai. He has earlier acted in serials with Hiten Tejwani like Kutumb and Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. Gandhi was last seen in Sony TV’s Tum Aise Hi Rehna.
Newbie Pooja Sethi has been roped in to play the role of his daughter. She wants to study and be more enterprising, but the father would have never allowed his daughter to spread her wings.

The story of this serial took place in present centurey, where child marriages were prohibited.Why her father ,who is very knowledgeble person and a lovable father make her daughter’s wedding so early.?iIn a lawer’s house how come it legal ,while the laws are against child widowvership and make that child brutally fasting?It comes under child abuse .Make some sense while taking such type of child centerd serials.
