SAB TV is an Indian General Entertainment Channel (GEC). SAB TV was Launched by Adhikari Brothers on 23rd April, 2000. It was Acquired by Sony Entertainment Television in March, 2005. Now, it is owned by Multi Screen Media which is a Subsidiary of Sony Entertainment Television (SET). In Starting It was a Comedy Based Channel, but after aquiring by Sony Entertainment Television it was convert into a Youth based Channel. But the Channel had make a return in June, 2008 as a Comedy Based Channel once again.
Upcoming Programmes on SAB TV in Year 2015
SAB TV is going through lot of programming changes. Few shows are set to bid adieu while several projects are in pipeline to launch soon. The channel is making their weekend slot strong and hence they are in plans of getting five new shows under well-known production houses.
Yogesh Sarkar Ka Magic Show – Hats Off Productions’ new magic based show, Yogesh Sarkar Ka Magic Show will have magician Yogesh Sarkar exhibiting his magic tricks, thus engaging celebrity guests as well as audience.
DJ’s Creativ Unit’s Show – DJ’s Creative Unit’s show highlighting the subject of police training. The show will have Akshay Anand, Chitrashi Rawat in lead roles.
The silent rom-com serial named Ram Pam Po produced by Deepti Bhatnagar Productions will have Abhishek Sharma and Cheshta Mehta playing the central roles.
Comedy Superstar – Another project which will soon launch is the reality show Comedy Superstar. Sumit Suri and Sudeepa Singh will be hosting the show.
Lastly, Saregama also have a new daily on board for which makers are still working out the storyline and casting.
All these five shows are slated to air on a weekend slot.
