Piya Rangrezz is about Social Issue such as Woman Empowerment. It is having a Haryanvi and Rajasthani backdrop. The mix culture will be seen in the show. The story of the show is inspired from Khaled Hosseini’s A Thousand Splendid Suns.

Anjali Gupta will be essaying the character of Main Girl’s Mother.  She was Last seen in Airlines and Dil Dosti Dance.  Recently she was also seen in Zee TV’s Bandhan.  In Piya Rangrezz, she will play the role of a typical housewife who would devote all her time, energy and attention on her family members. Though educated, she will love to dote on her kids rather than going out to earn money.

Talented actor Sanjay Batra is famous for playing the ‘fatherly’ roles.  He is portraying the character of a strong Politician who will go on to oppose the liquor Queen, Sher Singh’ Mother.  He is well appreciated as the main girl’s father in shows Jyoti and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.  He then followed it up with a rough and tough role, appeared as the ruthless politician Heth Singh in Colors’ Balika Vadhu.   Piya Rangrezz is the second show of Sanjay with Life Ok Channel.  Earlier he was also a part of Baawre of Life OK.
