Saumya Tandon is an Indian Actress cum Television Host.  She was born on November 3, 1984 in Bhopal.  She has done her schooling at St. Mary’s convent in Ujjain and MBA from the Fore School of Management. She is a poet and her collection of self composed poems was published in the form of a book called “Meri Bhavnayein” which was nominated for Modi young writer national award.

Beautiful Actress Saumya is playing the role of Anita in Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai of Zee’s  &TV.  Preety Actress Saumya Tandon made her come back on television in a fiction series after a long time. Anita is a modern day working woman.

Saumya Tandon Career

She has co-hosted Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout (based on the Wipeout format) with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011.  She has also co-host for Bournvita Quiz Contest along with Derek O’Brien. She has hosted Dance India Dance.  Saumya’s appearance as a host of Dance India Dance until 2010 has rocked the show. She also hosted three seasons of Mallika-E-Kitchen on Colors.  She has hosted the twelfth edition of comedy circus named Comedy Circus Ke Taansen, which was judged by Archana Puran Singh and Daler Mehndi. Curently she is seen as Anita in &TV’s fiction serial “Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai”.  She first made her bollywood debut with ex-lovers Shahid and Kareena film Jab We Met.  Apart from films, hosting shows Saumya was also featured in a short film “English”. She has also taken part in theater. She started writting when she was 6 years old and her father is her inspiration.

Saumya Tandon’s Father was a professor and Head of the Department of English at Vikram University in Ujjain and was an authority on Shakespearean literature. He wrote 17 books on different branches of English literature.  He was a well known writer, named Dr. B. G. Tandon.   Swamya feels that her parents are her strength who not even stop but also encourage her to take part in plays, anchoring or debating in prime or any important functions.
