- Isha Kopikar
- Prachi Shah
- Raza Murad as Aurangzeb
Raza, who has previously essayed epic historical roles like that of the Nizam in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani, has laid his hands on another such character.
Raza will now be seen essaying the character of Aurangzeb in the upcoming TV show Peshwa Bajirao.
And Raza’s portrayal of Aurangzeb will be slightly different from the portrayals of the character we’ve seen on screen so far and the actor elaborated more on the same.
Raza said, “In ‘Peshwa Bajirao’, Aurangzeb has mellowed down with repeated battle defeats and old age is also catching up with him. He is at the far end of his era as a ruler and is just a pale shadow of his past.
“Peshwa Bajirao” Sony TV Serial Story
