Diya Aur Baati Hum Season 2 will have grown ups from the the season.  Sooraj and Sandhya will not be seen in season 2.  Their Kids will be seen grown up.

Rajeev will be seen playing Vikram’s role. Being the eldest son post Sooraj’s death, Vikram will be seen as the boss in the house. Earlier in Season 1, the role of Vikram was played by Gautam Gulati.

Actor Vikas Grover has been signed for a cameo, again in a pivotal role. He will be seen essaying Rhea’s best friend. His character will be on air for more than a month.

Rhea is best known for her performance in the show, ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar‘ and also had a noticeable cameo in the blockbuster film, ‘M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story’.

Sadiya has been roped in to play a powerful and challenging role, that of Avinesh’s character’s bua. She will be portraying the role of an authoritative woman, who will also be seen having a soft side. Sadiya is best known for her role in Satrangi Sasural.
