Gama Pehalwan Serial story is based on the life of a Wrestler Ghulam Mohammed.  The story is set in Amritsar which was Gama’s hometown during the Partition.  He was born in Amritsar on 22nd May, 1978.  He belongs to a Kashmiri Family.  After Independence in 1947, Gama Moved to Pakistan.  He was undefeated in his career of 52 years.  He breathed his last on 23rd May 1960 in Lahore at the age of 82.
