Ankur Verma had recently shot for a sequence, where he tries to save Gauri (Ekroop Bedi) from a bomb blast and the viewers presumed him to be dead. That factor seemingly fits now as Ankur is reportedly all set to play the parallel lead in this upcoming show.
He will be playing a fun-loving Punjabi guy, who loves to entertain and will be the problem solver in the family.
Apart from this young lot of talented actors, veteran actor Amardeep Jha, best remembered for her role as Shankari Tai in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, has also been roped in for an instrumental role.
Usually known for her negative characters in the show, Amardeep said, “That is the best part about my role in this show. I am not playing an out-and-out negative character. Every character in the show will be having positive and negative sides to themselves making the script fantastic. Hopefully, this will be a nice change for the audience to watch me portray something different.”
